visual kool aid

This has nothing to do with politics.
I’m just jealous…and happy for them…and proud. So, happy Wednesday, my minions, enjoy some beautiful pictures...

LOL, and now, some crazed Air Force patriot will have visual proof that Obama is really a hard core right wing uber conservative who really wants to wreck the Democratic Party from the inside. And he got it from your blog. You had to throw in the picture with Chaney, didn't you.

And how bout that Dem win in Mississippi last night? Cheney and Huckabee both campaigned in person for the republican and he still lost a district that went 62% for Bush in '04!

And they ran ads tying the Dem candidate to Obama and Rev. Wright and those didn't work either. Guess Hillary's argument that Obama hurts candidates for the House is full of crap. But, then we already knew that. ;-)

I wasn't going to, Monty, but it's the swearing in part that I love. I should have photoshopped Satan out of it though...

Wait Jay, The Borg Queen? Full of shit? Of course not!
I love the smell of sarcasm in the morning.

I actually feel sorry for Obama's children. I wouldn't want to wish having to grow up with security and quite possibly Secret Service watching their every move.

On the other hand, Doc, growing up in the White House brings experiences and opportunities with it that nothing else on Earth does. I think it's a trade off and I like to think that the Obamas will try to shield thier children as much as possible. If I'm remembering right everyone is all obsessed for the first couple months and then it kind of dies down...(as much as it can when you're a First Kid)...

Maybe so however I still think they would wish to grow up like "normal" kids rather than with the Secret Service all over the place. I know I would have hated it....

WNG said...

I don't know - I think I would have been ok with it. Then again, the grass is always greener. I'm sure there's a book or article about the White House kids somewhere...

Why is it kool aid?

WNG said...

Certain people have accused me of 'drinking the kool aid' when it comes to Obama...
which I guess I have.

I'm jealous of anyone who looks at each other like that. This weekend I'll try to take a picture of "buddah and new jersey". They are seriously two of the least attractive (to me) people ever but when they look at each other and dance I feel that pang of jealousy deep inside.

I'm right there with you, Susan. It's bittersweet.
Then again, Mama G will be here next week, we'll hit the beach and see what we see (men flock to that woman, she's like Tippi Hedren to men)

Very sweet. The looks on the kids faces during the swearing in couldn't be better.

Great pics! Cute kids.

They are **definitely** "First Family" material. :)

Also: I had to Google (Wikipedia) Tippi Hedren. Ah!

The Wikipedia article says she's Melanie Griffith's mom; a photo is included; I can see it.

they look ready to take over the world in the picture with the coats, but the best one to me is the first one.

My fav is the one on the couch - I love the way they look at each other and laugh with each other

...sigh...

I'm going to make the effort to look at my wife like that more often.

Then on your silver anniversary you can thank me :)
