damn it feels good to be a celtic

2-0
So now it's on to LA. Poor LA, they have to deal with wildfires, mudslides, earthquakes, Powe, Perkins, Pierce, Rondo, Posey, Allen, Garnett...
Mama G and I agree that 'The Show' is worth watching. Great job, Leon!!!
As Papa G says, 'God don't like ugly', Kobe...maybe you should keep it at home...

After 10 years, Paul... TAKE IT!!! BEAT LA!!!

UPDATE:
Since there's no fabulous Celtic basketball on tonight your assignment is to watch my Senator, Jim Webb, on The Daily Show! (Be grateful I'm not assigning an essay minions!)

i saw the last 9 minutes of the fourth quarter in a crowded sports bar. Half the bar was supporting LA and the other half was supporting Boston. Both were incredibly vocal!

On to LA!

I saw the entire thing on the edge of my bed and/or jumping up and down around my room...I, too, was incredibly vocal :)

I miss the days of Larry Bird...

They're back, NoR. He and Magic were both at the game :)

Doc Rivers is out-coaching Phil Jackson. How cool is that? I'm sure the LA sports media (Bill Plashke, Jim Rome, J.A. Adonde and others) are having a collective meltdown this morning. Maybe not on the same level as when Texas beat USC and they launched a smear campaign against Vince Young before the NFL draft, but I'm sure it's still pretty bad for those folks. At least I hope so. ;-)

he he he he

we're so MEAN Jay! Reveling in their pain, lauging while celebrities cry. Horrible.

I'M LOVIN IT!!!

I attempted watching this but I was distracted. :)

Distracted huh, hmm...

I have a feeling I'm going to be jealous once I read your post for today...

The Celtics are half way there.

In-trade ranks Webb the highest probability to be Obama's running mate.

WNG said...

Hi Monty...have you gotten any superpowers from your brush with death yet? I really think you should. There should be SOME kind of compensation!

We're all fighting down here over whether it should be Webb, Warner or Kaine. We're just pretty pumped to have three VA peeps in the running :)
VA is fired up, we registered over 200 new voters this weekend!

Man I'm gonna fail. I have organic TV here in Boston, its part of my experiment to see just how long I can live with out cable. However I am not sure if it counts because I still have cable at my house in the H! Hmmmmmmmm

Summer weekend TV is going to break me I feel a call to the devil, I mean Comcast coming on!

Go BIG GREEN!!

Webb has the military and foreign policy experience Obama is missing, and Southern appeal. My take. Keep turning out the vote. It is critical. Just like fish tacos!

WNG said...

I don't have cable either, OG...I have neighbors :-)

NoR - tasty!

Monty - he couldhave a problem with women. He wrote a pretty mysoginistic novel when he was younger and he's got some statements out there floating around from years ago. He's disavowed them and his voting record so far has backed up his "I've changed" narrative, but still...

when the series is over, I will tell you why I HATE THE LAKERS.

yeah I saw Jim Webb on The Daily Show and he was entertaining and smart
but

I imagine that HRC's supporters will be uncomfortable with his previous statements about women...but you know the search is still young.

WNG said...

That *but* is a big deal. I am uncomfortable with those statements. The only reason I trust him is that he has stepped up for our military women in speeches and votes so far.
