talk amongst yourselves

Well, it looks like #390 might be it for a while.
It's not that I don't have anything to say - there are a million things.
It's not that I don't want to talk to you about them - I do.
It's that right now too many things hurt and talking about them isn't making them better. Ignoring them and talking about other things isn't working either. So I won't be posting for a while. I'll still be lurking out here on teh internets and commenting sometimes. I just need a little vacation.
So, remember, minions:
Get up, Get out DO SOMETHING

oh and

Vodka Saves;)

now, talk amongst yourselves...I'll give you a topic... everything

I like cheese grits.

I knew it, Es! I knew you were still around - just not writing. I missed you.

I just need a week or two.

I would love to listen in on a cheese grits debate though ;)

I am also a fan of cheese grits.

On the topic of grits in general:

Butter and Pepper

or

Butter and Sugar

Oh, I would so love some grits. Butter and pepper.
I actually bought a roll of grits from Trader Joe's. Havent' cracked it open yet.

WNG, I thought this was coming. Hang in there... Would it cheer you up to come up and paint? If it does, you are REALLY a dork. :-)

Doc said...

YUCK no sugar.... Butter pepper and cheese... maybe even a touch of sour cream but NEVER sugar on grits.... Susan my dear please say that you don't put sugar on them.

What's a grit?

Doc said...

Hey Vinny go watch 'My cousin Vinny'

I have always wanted to say that.

Susan said...

Come on, doc, I'm from the country. Putting sugar on grits is a good way to get disowned.

WNG said...

NoR - If I could afford the gas I would totally be there, and it would make me feel better, and I AM a dork.

But I'm a dork who gets to look at my boss' brand new Audi which she parked right outside my window. I get to look at that instead of any overtime on my paycheck, which has been cut companywide. I get screwed with my pants on, she gets a new ride that's a great trade off. Hey, we can't all the the company owner's only daughter.

Pepperjack cheese grits with shrimp on top. That's how we roll in Chucktown.

Doc said...

Thank goodness Susan... Wheew you had me worried!

And yes ma'am G Shrimp and grits is a southern way of life... I like it creole style

Susan said...

Now I want shrimp and grits. That totally doesn't fall on the diet...

WNG said...

That's what's for breakfast at the House of G this Saturday.

Well well dearie. If you want to come up next weekend, and meet Monty for sushi and paint, I would pay for your gas. No joke. Your painting services would more than pay for the gas. Let me know.

For you.

If you like it and think you can sell it, I'll give you the full size file and you can set up a free Cafe Press or Skreened store and see what you can make of it. Or if you have suggestions for changes, you can just let me know.

NoRegrets said...

Slag, that's great! Do it WNG!

WNG said...

I can't cry at work and I'm really touched right now so I'll have to get back to both of you.

NoRegrets said...

I'll even feed you. But not sushi for every meal! The sushi is Monty's domain.

EsLocura said...

Dammit I miss the south sometimes.

Spicy tuna coming right up. Goes perfectly with vodka. The colder the better on the vodka.

The CEO said...

Also goes well with a side helping of grits.
